The Medifast Diet Plan In A Fast Food World
Something interesting has happened in the last 30 years to our society. We’ve gotten a lot fatter, especially in the United States. Our obesity rates are going through the roof, and what’s even worse is that heart disease is the number one killer. It didn’t always used to be like that. I can’t help but wonder if this has something to do with the way that fast food has become part of our culture in the last three decades.
What at one time was considered a novelty, now has transformed into a billion dollar industry. Heck, there are plenty of fast food corporations that are worth billions of dollars. The list goes on and on, so you can imagine how powerful the industry has gotten. At some point, people have to start looking at themselves, and collectively ask “what happened”? We didn’t use to be like this.
In order for our obesity rates to drop, we have to make fast food places a novelty again, where people would only go maybe once or twice a month instead of four or five times a week, like it is right now.
